MASTER PLANNING
MITROS CITY, NIGERIA
Master Plan and guidance documents for a significant mixed use development of 2,200 ha on the border of Lagos and Ogun States.
Overall, the Master Plan provides a framework for a range of residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality and tourist accommodation, together with supporting institutional and community facilities for a projected permanent population of up to 180,000 permanent residents.
Operating on behalf of a public private partnership between Ogun State Government, UBA Construction and Lagos based AUC Consulting, the core deliverables were a Final Master Plan Report, Parameter Plans and Design Guidelines.
Collectively, these presented a fully integrated vision for new development that could be used for marketing and promotion, detailed infrastructure design and releasing individual plots and parcels to private developers and investors. Representing a major hub between the cities of Lagos and Abeokuta in the Lagos-Ogun Interstate Zone, detailed infrastructure design, site grading and clearance commenced in 2016.
