URBAN DESIGN

TURAIF, RAFHA AND QAISUMAH AIRPORTS, KSA

Review of the proposed master plans and terminal designs for three regional airports in KSA based on current design standards by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia (GACA) and new data for trip generation and market forecasts.

Working alongside transport and infrastructure design teams from Mayer Brown (UK) and Hazim Consulting (KSA), design reports were prepared for each airport that included recommendations for the adjustment of existing proposals to meet current standards, opportunities for non-airside development and integration with existing settlements.
